Types of fireworks

Three categories cover everything we sell. Pick by what you want the show to feel like, not by brand.

200g and 500g cakes

The workhorses. A “cake” is a stack of tubes glued together and fused so one fuse fires all of them in sequence. The number refers to the total powder weight inside.

  • 200g cake: short, dense effect — 20-40 seconds. Good for openers and bridges.
  • 500g cake: longer, bigger break. Federal max for consumer aerials. Build your finale around these.

Reloadable shell kits (24 shells)

A mortar tube and a sleeve of single-break shells. You drop a shell in, light the fuse, and it shoots one effect skyward. The 24-shell count we ship is standard — count it as the highest-impact item in any package.

Slower to fire than cakes (you have to reload between shots) but gives you total control over pacing.

Finale racks

Multi-tube rigs that fire pre-fused shells together. Designed for the closing 60 seconds of a show — a wall of color and noise. Set up earlier in the day so wiring + spacing are right by dark.
